Rasa Arts Collective's inaugural project is Love Times Seven, DC's first English-language musical theatre production inspired by Bollywood. A love story spanning seven decades that explores the journey from pre-independent India to present day in Bollywood cinema, the goal of this project is to translate the Bollywood aesthetic for the stage, combining English dialogue with Bollywood song and dance. From the innocence of the 40s to the campiness of the 80s, Love Times Seven is Bollywood like you've never seen it before.

The show runs March and April of 2010.

Chorus Dancers

Rasa DC is now looking for chorus dancers for Love Times Seven: A Bollywood musical. All dancers (male and female, race no bar) may e-mail to set up an audition time and date. The position is paid. You must prepare a 3-4 minute dance for you audition. The piece can be in any dance style.
